California Science Center seeking actors for outreach theater program, Science on Tour. Traveling Southern California, Science on Tour consist of two programs. Desert Dome is an ecology based show utilizing technology which stars a desert explorer. SuperKids Academy is a high energy performance about health featuring puppets and features two SuperKid trainers. Staff required to learn all roles in both programs in addition to new programs currently being developed.

Experience performing for younger audiences, be responsible and punctual, able to deal with a flexible and often early schedule, clear driving record and ability to drive a 15 person van, able to complete take down and set up on time, able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and have a desire to work with a diverse and varied community. English-Spanish Bilingual preferred but not required.

Auditions scheduled late August and consist of a cold reading and interview.

Part-Time TEMPORARY/SEASONAL positions that may include weekend, holiday and/or evening hours. Work early September to early June (approx. 8-9 months), w/ pos. year-round or next season employment.
