The Arts Council for Long Beach will host a California Arts Project workshop on the career technical standards and how they related to the Visual and Performing Arts disciplines.
The workshop is for artists, teaching artists and arts administrators and will explore curriculum connections for the arts, examine the role practicing professionals in the Arts, Media, and Entertainment fields can play in supporting "preparing students to be work-life-college ready," and provide tips for connecting your current programs and curricula to the career technical standards.
The workshop, NEXUS: Arts Professionals and the Arts, Media, and Entertainment Pathways, will be held on Wednesday, April 20 from 3-6 p.m. at the Arts Council for Long Beach, 110 Pine Ave. Suite 1100, Long Beach, CA 90802.
