The Pasadena Arts Advocates is a group of community stakeholders who support and advocate for arts and culture in schools and civic life. The group supports the Pasadena Unified School District in implementing its Visual and Performing Arts Education Policy and its Strategic Plan.

Invest in PUSD Kids with the League of Women Voters are sponsoring a City Council & School Board Candidate Forum on Wednesday, February 2nd at Norma Coombs Alternative School Auditorium - 2600 Paloma Street, Pasadena (
Arts for LA will be conducting a survey all of the candidates running for LA City Council, LAUSD Board, Pasadena City Council and Pasadena USD Board prior to the March 8, 2011 elections.  LA City and Pasadena are the sites of our current advocacy workshop series, with the goal of creating a team of arts advocates to ensure that the arts are part of the election disco
The Pasadena Earth and Arts Festival returns to Old Pasadena on Saturday, April 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., celebrating all things green and artistic through hands-on activities, product demonstrations, resource sharing, live entertainment and eco-Jeopardy. This free, ninth annual event will take place in and around Memorial Park and the Armory Center for the Arts, 145 N. Raymond Ave.
Who Will Win on April 8: The Artists? The Scientists? The Chefs? The Faithful? The Teachers? The Undeclared? On Friday, April 8, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. student teams from Art Center College of Design, Caltech, Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, Fuller Theological Seminary, Pacific Oaks College and Pasadena City College will vie for top honors in the second annual Pasadena Collegiate Field Tournament at PCC’s Jackie Robinson Stadium. Admission is free and everyone is invited to root for their favorite teams.
The Arts & Culture Commission’s Community Development Subcommittee will meet Monday, March 28, at 4:30 p.m. in the second floor conference room at the Permit Center, 175 N.
